Description

Aputure F10 Fresnel. The Aputure F10 Fresnel is the first industry-standard 10-inch Fresnel made for luminaires that feature a Bowens fitting mount. With its large 250 mm (9.84 inch) diameter glass Fresnel, the F10 significantly enhances the output of point source LED luminaires, but also delivers and illumination quality lighting technicians will find similar to that of the Tungsten 5K or Studio 2K.

Strong brightness
The F10 Fresnel works perfectly when paired with the Aputure LS 600d Pro, a 600W LED Daylight COB luminaire. This combination exceeds the output of the Tungsten Studio 2K luminaires and approaches the intensity of the 5K Tungsten luminaires in the flood position. With a combined flood output of 11,440 lux and spot output of 29,300 lux at 3 meters, the 600d Pro and F10 Fresnel combination rivals even higher power HMI luminaires.

Dual optical system design
The F10 Fresnel matches the unique design of the Fresnel 2X, using a two-stage optical system to maximize light output. Using a rear aspherical focus element, the F10 Fresnel optimises the output of the LS 600d Pro and “fills” the front Fresnel element, resulting in up to 340% extra bright output in flood mode.

Ergonomic focus
For ergonomic and precise adjustment of the 15° – 45° variable beam angle, the F10 Fresnel uses Aputure’s helical focus design first introduced in the Fresnel 2X. This type of beam focusing does not require additional buttons or handles. Simply rotate the lens ring and adjust the spot/flood positions (concentrated/diffuse).

Minimized light leaks
Based on the design of the Fresnel 2X, the F10 Fresnel uses a displacement ventilation design in its waterproof body that allows airflow while minimizing light leakage.

Excellent construction
Despite the impressive 250 mm (9.84 inch) diameter of the Fresnel lens, the F10 Fresnel remains a compact, heat-resistant construction. The F10’s shell can withstand the heat generated by the LS 600d Pro and due to the retractable and aspherical focusing lens, it can be used at a depth of 172.5 mm (6.8 inches).

Receptacle for sliding components (drop-in)
Another of the many unique features of the F10 Fresnel is that it is the first Bowens mount Fresnel to feature an industry standard slot for sliding components. This heavy-duty accessory holder allows users to mount F10 blades on the Fresnel for proper light modulation, and can even accept a 13-inch (330 mm) scrim.
