Aputure Softbox Lantern 90cm With curtain. The Aputure Lantern 90 softbox is made for use with LED or studio flash fixtures and emits a soft, almost 360° coverage light that spreads evenly over a large area. You can place it horizontally, like an ordinary softbox, or hang it in a boom above your subject to increase the level of ambient lighting, open up shadows and allow other narrower beam luminaires to create the special atmosphere you want.
To increase the flexibility of this softbox, Aputure provides a four-sided curtain to control the direction of light. Using the curtain with all four sides adjusted creates a well of soft light, while covering one side can direct the light or create a specific ratio of light/dark areas to add dimension to your shot.
The Aputure Softbox Lantern 90cm With Curtain features a Bowens-style quick-fit ring for Aputure luminaires, but can also be used with many other manufacturers’ luminaires that use this popular mount.
